Software Development

Our software development is comprehensive, covering platforms and technologies from enterprise software and mobile apps to firmware and embedded systems. We take on enterprise-level turnkey projects as well as small one-off product and patch developments, with flexible engagement models and competitive rates.

Engineering process

We use structured software-engineering processes based on the Unified Process. A typical mid-sized project is divided into Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition phases, worked through a sequence of iterations with defined milestones and deliverables. Where a project demands a less structured approach — a critical patch or a time-constrained release — we apply rapid-development techniques such as XP.

Mobile application development

We design and build native mobile applications on both Android and iOS for our customers — from secure consumer-facing apps to field and enterprise tools that integrate with back-end systems. Mobile work draws on the same security discipline as the rest of our stack: secure storage, authenticated and encrypted communications, and integration with smartcards, tokens and our server-side key management where a deployment calls for it.

X-Stream workflow engine

Much of our enterprise work builds on X-Stream, our generic workflow-automation engine. It separates business logic from workflow implementation, so processes are configured rather than hard-wired and new rules can be applied on-the-fly. X-Stream scales from small intra-office LAN deployments to large trans-national ERP implementations over VPN/IPSEC, with transactional integrity maintained across hybrid database platforms by our proprietary TCOP protocol. Platform-neutral & secure by default

We maintain cross-platform teams and stay platform-neutral, choosing technologies that best fit the requirement. Security integration is inherent in our development services wherever applicable, and teams can be blended across on-site and offshore. We also provide software maintenance and support to complement new development.
