Banking & Financial Services
We apply our engineering and security competence to core banking and financial services, built on the X-Stream workflow engine and the BankFlow platform and proven at national scale.
BankFlow — total branch automation
BankFlow is a total branch-automation solution: a flexible base module implementing the core functionality of most branch banking transactions, adaptable to customer-specific requirements, and extended by off-the-shelf or custom add-on modules for a complete bank-automation solution. The core module covers cash and teller transactions, savings/current/overdraft accounts, clearing (MICR and non-MICR), term deposits, loans and advances, online daybook and general ledger, remittance, shares, and a full audit trail across all transactions.
Add-on modules
- AnyBranch Banking (ABB) — withdrawals, remittances and balance enquiries at any branch, with strong smartcard/digital-signature authentication and automatic inter-branch reconciliation.
- Telebanking — a customisable IVR system for balance and account queries by phone, with PIN authentication and voice or numeric navigation.
- Cash Management System (CMS) — fast cash collection across base branches, collection centres, hubs and head office, routed over a WAN with RSA-PKI security and our TCOP integrity protocol.
- Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) — inter-branch fund transfer across remitting/paying branches, hubs and head office, with automatic reconciliation and comprehensive logging.
- Smart-Card ATM — a single-source, x86-based ATM solution — hardware, switches, cards and support — integrating with BankFlow or third-party products over secure VPN, Wi-Fi or dedicated links.
Case study — Department of Posts, India
BankFlow was customised to automate deposit and savings schemes across more than 6,500 post offices nationwide, covering savings, recurring deposits, monthly income, national savings, PPF, time deposits and certificate schemes. A distributed-database model gave each office an independent server running X-Stream workflow logic, with transparent batch updates to head post offices simulating a centralised solution — minimising business disruption while mapping a clear path to centralisation.
